Common questions
Before you enquire
What is the minimum stay?
One month. Our apartments are for monthly and longer stays, not nightly or weekly tourist lets. After the first month you can stay month to month, or take a fixed term with the option to renew. We ask for 45 days notice before you move out.
What do I need to pay before moving in?
Just the security deposit, which is one month of rent, and your first month of rent. There are no agency fees and nothing else hidden. You can pay by bank transfer or credit card.
The security deposit is refunded in full at the end of your lease, as long as the rent is paid up and there is no damage to the unit. If you cancel after signing the lease, or end the lease before the end of its term, the deposit is not refunded.
Do you charge agency or commission fees?
No. You rent directly from Tane Residence, so there are no agency fees, unlike renting through a property agent.
Are utilities included in the rent?
Water is always included. Electricity comes with a monthly credit and the amount varies by unit. If your metered usage goes over that credit, we bill the extra on top.
Are the apartments furnished?
Yes, every unit is fully furnished and move-in ready: Wi-Fi, a smart TV, air-conditioning, an equipped kitchen, and all linens and towels. Most units have their own washing machine and the rest share a washer and dryer.
Is cleaning included?
Yes, weekly cleaning and housekeeping are included. Extra cleaning visits, or more frequent changes of linen and towels, can be arranged for an additional fee.
How quickly can I move in?
As fast as the same day, if a unit is available and you are ready to decide, sign the contract and make the payments. The apartments are already furnished, so there is nothing to set up first.
Can I view the apartment before booking?
Yes. We can arrange an in-person viewing, send you photos and videos, or do a live video call so you can see the unit if you cannot come in person.
